2019 Budget : Research gets something to improve their situation. Education section gets ₹94,854 crore.


In the higher education, the interest subsidy and supplement to education 
ensure fund has been cut from ₹2,150 crore in 2018-2019 to ₹1,900 crore 
in 2019-2020. likewise, the much hyped PM fellowship scheme fund has 
been reduced from ₹75 crore in 2018-19 to ₹50 crore this fiscal.
Though, the total allocation for investigating and creation has been bounce up 
from ₹350 crore last fiscal to ₹607 crore in the actual financial. In fact, finance 
minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday proposed to set up a National Research 
Foundation to fund and promote research, a advice was first proposed in the 
draft new education plan of action already in public domain.



Allocated ₹94,853.64 crore for education Section in 2019-20, an heighten of nearly ₹10,000 crore 
of what 2018-19 budget figur had pegged for the section.
In 2018 budget estimate had pegged ₹85,010 crore, the altered budget had cut back this number
to ₹83,625.86 crore, the budget documents showed Friday.
Total ₹94,853 crore education budget, ₹56, 536 crore has been pegged for the schools and rest 
₹38,318 crore has been allot to the higher education especially to degree level.
In the school the bulk of the allocat will be allotted to Samagra Shikha Abhiyan, a new 
arrangement that  combine several school arrangement including the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. 
The solar-day meal program has been allocated ₹11,000 crore or ₹500 crore more than what 
2018-19 budget estimates had pegged.
While teachers training has been a unvarying hype and discussion point among academics and  
scholar, the budget allocates the teachers grooming, training and adult education only ₹125 crore,
a significant climb down from ₹871 cr.
